Rental Property Investments Changed Me

by Carrie Blune
(Albany, NY)

My biggest reward for investment in rental property is actually something that I stumbled upon by accident but it did change my life forever. Before I bought my first rental property, I was the typical spendthrift who would max out my credit cards without batting an eyelid.

When I began investing in rental property 7 years ago, it effectively forced me to spend less and stash aside a sum of money to pay for my rental home.

Putting my money into a rental home that appreciates in value makes a lot of more sense than forking out cash for another vanity item. As a landlord I also had to learn basic rental property accounting and this accounting knowledge came in especially helpful when it came to accounting for my own finances.

If you want to take control of your finances and learn how to manage your wealth, then investments in rental property is a good place to begin.
